For the Shaman, the Solstice is more than the turning of a season. It is a threshold of power—a sacred moment when we become still enough to recognize what is ending, what is awakening, and what Spirit is asking us to carry forward.
We gather in ceremony not simply to witness the return of the Light, but to become conscious carriers of it.
Through Despacho, Cacao, prayer, fire, gratitude and Ayni, we honor what has brought us here, release what cannot travel with us, and offer our intentions for the path ahead.
A Shaman understands that when the world moves through darkness, we do not fear it.
We tend the fire.
We remember the Light.
And when the time comes—we help bring it back.

If weather permits we will be outside so dress appropriately. Bring an inside or outside seat if sitting on the ground or folding chair isn’t optimal. Blanket, cushion, and water are also suggested if needed.
About your Shamanic Guide, Shannon Davis
Shannon Davis (Apu) is a shamanic practitioner and medicine woman within the Peruvian (Inca) Q'ero lineage. She combines her spiritual practice with a professional background as a Registered Nurse (RN) and is certified in Reiki and vibrational energy healing techniques.
A natural intuitive, clairvoyant, and empathic healer, Shannon follows her passion for assisting others as they step into their own power and healing.
Shannon has been a guest speaker for several healing conventions, as well as for live radio and podcast interviews and in magazine articles. Her goal is to bring light and love to the world and to touch everyone she meets with beauty, inspiring them to find their path of healing.
Shannon is dedicated to helping clients heal on all levels: emotional, mental, spiritual, and physical. Through her private practice, she provides shamanic healing and integrates the medicine wheel technique into her life and business coaching. She has developed many of the classes offered at The Chacana Spiritual Center, including the Death Doula program, "Sacred Fire, Sacred Altar," and "The Medicine Wheel." She has also adapted all Shamanic teachings as passed down by elders to ensure they are accessible to her students. As the Head Teacher at Chacana, she works closely with each student for two years, mentoring them through their apprenticeship to ensure they reach their full potential as healers.
Shannon is the owner of The Chacana Spiritual Center in Melbourne, Florida, a healing center focused on community education, wellness, and holistic health across the mental, spiritual, emotional, and physical levels.
