Welcome! Vespers is the Church’s daily evening prayer, and it is open to everyone. No participation is required—you are free to choose whether to take part in any ritual gestures (such as making the sign of the cross) and you are welcome, if you wish, simply to sit quietly and listen.
The entire monastic community shares the hope that more of their fellow Chicagoans will experience the mystical sounds of this ancient celebration. All are invited and admission is always free.
