This is more than a film about music.
Soldiers of Song tells the story of Ukrainian musicians who, in the midst of war, use music as a voice of resistance, courage, memory, and hope. It is a story of artists who continue to create while their country, their culture, and their identity are under attack.
And right now, these stories matter more than ever.
As the war continues, it is essential that the world does not become accustomed to Ukraine’s suffering or allow its stories to fade into the background. Ukrainian voices must continue to be heard — through journalism, personal stories, art, and music.
✨ We are especially honored that members of the film’s creative team will join us for this premiere. This will be a unique opportunity not only to experience Soldiers of Song on the big screen, but also to meet the people who helped bring these powerful stories to the world.
The documentary features Ukrainian musicians including Slava Vakarchuk, Andriy Khlyvnyuk, Svitlana Tarabarova, and others whose music has become part of Ukraine’s story of resilience.
