Have you ever wondered how MOTAT cares for its vast collection of transport and technology?
For the first time, MOTAT is offering a unique opportunity for you to step behind the closed doors of our Collections Storehouse and discover a world normally unseen by visitors.
A profusion of fascinating objects and stories will be revealed as Director of Collections, Alba Letts, takes you on an eye-opening behind-the-scenes tour of this MOTAT location – a space few ever see.
Hear how the museum manages and cares for the pieces of history that are part of the MOTAT collection. From transport technology to everyday innovations, you’ll gain a rare glimpse into the work that happens beyond the museum exhibition floor.
Strictly limited to just 25 people and for only two select dates, this limited experience is not to be missed.
MOTAT Mates receive a 10% discount on tour tickets.
PLEASE NOTE: This experience is only available to those 11 years and over.
Due to the sensitive nature of this facility, the specific location and directions for the MOTAT Storehouse will be provided on booking.
