This 40 minute treatment combines both external and intra oral release techniques to release tension held through the jaw, face, neck and nervous system.
TMJ dysfunction is rarely isolated to the jaw alone.
Many people experiencing jaw pain also notice headaches, facial tension, teeth grinding, neck tightness, nervous system dysregulation, shoulder heaviness, tongue tension, shallow breathing and a constant feeling of “holding on.”
As someone who personally experiences TMJ dysfunction, I understand how exhausting and consuming it can become.
These sessions are designed to create space in the tissues, soften chronic holding patterns and support the body in moving out of protection and into relief.
