About this Event

Softening into September: A Community Sound Bath for Rest & Renewal

As summer begins to soften into fall, September invites a subtle shift in rhythm.

The light changes. Schedules begin to fill. Life can start to gather momentum again.

And in the midst of that movement, it can be easy to lose touch with the quieter places within us.

Softening into September offers a different kind of beginning.

A space to pause, settle, and reconnect — so that we can move into the new season with greater steadiness, presence, and ease.

The Experience

You will be gently guided into a deeply restorative state through a combination of:

An immersive sound journey with beautiful crystal singing bowls, Tibetan singing bowls, and koshi chimes
Breathwork to calm and regulate the nervous system
Somatic meditation to ground awareness in the body and restore a sense of connection

The resonant tones of the bowls create a soothing environment that can help quiet the mind, soften held tension, and support the body in moving toward deep rest.

As layers of effort begin to fall away, the nervous system has an opportunity to shift from doing into being — from holding into receiving.

From this quieter place, a sense of balance, clarity, and renewal can begin to emerge.

Why This Matters

September often brings a return to fuller schedules, responsibilities, routines, and demands.

Even positive change can create activation in the nervous system.

Without moments to pause and reset, we can find ourselves moving through life with a quiet undercurrent of tension — holding, rushing, anticipating, or simply doing too much for too long.

This experience offers an opportunity to interrupt that pattern.

Not by adding more, but by creating the conditions for the body to soften, unwind, and remember what it feels like to rest.

This Experience Supports

• Deep relaxation and stress relief
• Nervous system regulation
• Improved capacity for rest and sleep
• Release of physical and emotional tension
• A renewed sense of calm, clarity, and connection
• Greater steadiness in meeting the changing rhythms of daily life

Who This Is For

• Feel tired, overwhelmed, or “on” much of the time

• Simply need a space to pause, rest, and be supported

No prior experience is needed. Everyone is welcome.
