The Deep and Stirring Power of Progressive Metal, SOEN, Arrives in Ljubljana for Their "Reliance Europe 2027" TourPushing the boundaries of the modern metal world while delivering a seamless blend of emotional intensity and musical perfection, Swedish progressive metal giants SOEN are preparing to meet music lovers in Ljubljana as part of their new "Reliance Europe 2027" tour. Organized by Black Label Events, this magnificent concert will take place on the evening of Sunday, March 14, 2027, on the stage of Ljubljana's esteemed and iconic venue, Cvetličarna.
Born with an uncompromising vision out of the dark and profound depths of Sweden's progressive metal scene, SOEN was established under the leadership of former Opeth drummer Martin Lopez and vocalist Joel Ekelöf, whose introspective voice shapes the band's core identity. The ensemble left a powerful mark on the music world with their boundary-breaking debut album Cognitive in 2012. Cementing their lineup over the years with versatile multi-instrumentalist Lars Enok Åhlund, guitarist Cody Lee Ford, and bassist Stefan Stenberg, the band has continually explored the fragilities and resilience of the human spirit with every new record.
After venturing into raw, organic territories with albums such as Tellurian (2014) and Lykaia (2017), the group masterfully married technical sophistication with societal fractures through Lotus (2019) and Imperial (2021). A defining milestone in the band's discography, their sixth studio album Memorial (2023) was crowned "Album of the Year" by Metal Hammer Germany, firmly solidifying their place among the elite of modern metal. The group continues their profound musical journey with their latest studio album, Reliance (2026), released via Silver Lining Music.
Transcending mere music by turning their live performances into intense emotional rituals, SOEN promise audiences an unforgettable experience where heaviness intertwines with melancholy, and technical mastery meets profound human warmth. Followed closely by fans of legendary acts such as Architects, Gojira, Disturbed, Tool, Devin Townsend, Opeth, and Katatonia, the ensemble delivers a must-see performance defined by sweeping dynamics and raw emotion.
Tickets for this extraordinary evening, taking place on March 14, 2027, at Cvetličarna Ljubljana, are available at on-parole.com, eventim.si, and entrio.si.
