🧦 Sock Knitting Workshop Series – From Cuff to Toe 🧦
This is an intermediate-level knitting course and participants must already be able to knit and purl confidently. Perfect for knitters ready to build on their skills and tackle sock construction.
Always wanted to knit your own socks but felt intimidated by all those needles and techniques? Join us for this relaxed, supportive four-week workshop where we’ll guide you step-by-step through creating a classic cuff-down sock.
Perfect for adventurous beginners and intermediate knitters, this course breaks sock knitting into manageable weekly stages so you can build skills and confidence as you go.
Week 1:
• Unravel the mystery of knitting with four needles (DPNs)
• Cast on and begin the cuff
Week 2:
• Demystify the heel flap and heel turn
Week 3:
• Shape the gusset and continue the foot
Week 4:
• Shape the toe
• Master the Kitchener stitch for a seamless finish
🗓 Begins: Saturday 10th October
🕒 Time: 3:30–5:30pm
💷 Cost: £100 (all tools and materials included)
Tea, coffee, and biscuits will be provided (and much needed!).
Leave with a beautiful handmade sock and the confidence to knit many more. Spaces are limited—booking essential!
