Professors, experts, and storytellers giving thought-provoking lectures in unexpected places around Waco.We spend roughly a third of our lives asleep, yet most of us have only a vague idea of what our brains are actually doing during those hours. We know sleep matters, but why? And what happens when we consistently get too little of it?
Join us for an evening with Dr. Michael Scullin, Baylor University professor and sleep researcher, as we explore the science behind one of the most essential parts of being human. In The Sleeping Brain, Scullin will take us inside the sleeping brain, separate myths from reality, and share practical, evidence-based strategies for improving sleep quality, including changes you can start making tonight.
Dr. Michael Scullin is a professor of psychology and neuroscience at Baylor University, where he directs the Sleep Neuroscience and Cognition Laboratory.
