This is a relaxed, in-person gathering where job seekers can connect, share, and support one another through the ups and downs of the job search. Looking for work can feel isolating — but you’re not alone. This is a welcoming space to:
- Talk openly about your experience
- Swap advice, encouragement, or leads
- Build a community of people who truly understand
- Learn practical interview preparation strategies from career coach Cathy Lloyd, including how to use AI tools to research organizations and interviewers, decode job descriptions, anticipate questions, sharpen STAR stories, practice with an AI mock interviewer, and prepare thoughtful questions to ask at the end of the interview.
Whether you're between jobs, changing careers, or figuring out your next step — this is a place for you.
This event takes place in the Jobs & Careers Center located on the 4/F of the Main Library.
