The 6th Annual Smithville Community in Action 5K & Family Fun Run sponsored by Dream Properties Real Estate takes place Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Heritage Park in Smithville, Missouri. This beloved community event anticipates 200+ participants and draws a diverse, multigenerational crowd that reflects the heart of the Smithville community.The event features a chip-timed 5K race alongside a casual family fun run, welcoming everyone from competitive runners chasing podium finishes to families with strollers, wagons, and four-legged friends. The atmosphere is energetic, inclusive, and deeply community-centered.
Alongside the race, we will have an all you can eat pancake breakfast free to registered runners and $10 for non-runners. We will also have our popular raffle featuring 40+ raffle items from area businesses.
Top finishers are recognized with prizes awarded to the top 3 male and female finishers in 2 different age categories.
All proceeds benefit Smithville Community in Action.
