Join us for an evening of raw storytelling, soulful sounds, and Americana grit as Smilo & The Ghost brings their distinctive blend of folk, alt-country, and soul to City Winery Pittsburgh.Fronted by singer-songwriter Tyler Smilo, the Erie-born band combines vintage tones, cinematic storytelling, and a touch of cosmic twang to create music that feels both rugged and deeply personal. Their sound moves effortlessly between dusty desert highways and dimly lit city bars, pairing honest lyricism with melodies that linger long after the final note.
Since forming in 2016, Smilo & The Ghost have built a growing discography, including Ghost Writers, Fingers Crossed & Godspeed, Twang & Fire, Live from PACA, and their latest EP, Phantom. Drawing from themes of recovery, survival, and the experiences that shape us, their music offers an unfiltered look at life's struggles, resilience, and redemption.
More than a band, Smilo & The Ghost are a gathering of misfits and truth-tellers who invite audiences to connect through music that feels genuine and lived-in.
Join us at City Winery Pittsburgh for an unforgettable night of heartfelt songwriting, roots-driven sounds, and music that stays with you long after the show.
