Smartphone Skills Course: Hands-On Basics for Beginners
Does your smartphone feel overwhelming? Wolf Joy Tech provides a stress-free, 4-week mobile phone course that replaces confusing technical jargon with simple, practical learning. Designed specifically for adults in the Lake City area, this beginner hands-on course will empower you to navigate your device safely and stay connected with loved ones.
Course Dates:
Tuesday, September 29th: 10am - 11:30am
Tuesday, October 6th: 10am - 11:30am
Tuesday, October 13th: 10am - 11:30am
Tuesday, October 20th: 10am - 11:30am
Class Size:
Strictly limited to 15 students to ensure everyone receives dedicated, one-on-one assistance.
Cost:
$45 for the entire 4-week course.
Refunds:
Refunds are allowed up to 7 days before the first class. Otherwise, no refunds will be issued. If an issue arises within 7 days of your first class you may work with your instructor to attend a future course.

Course Curriculum
Week 1: Foundation & Touch
Info: This week focuses on demystifying Apple versus Android devices. It also teaches students to master the "secret symbols" of basic device navigation.
Week 2: Comfort & Search
Info: Participants learn practical, everyday skills like using the quick menu to turn on their flashlights. Students also build digital confidence by searching the internet for topics of interest and safely navigating Google Maps.
Week 3: Fun with Texting
Info: This module focuses on stress-free communication. It introduces emojis and voice-to-text features specifically designed to assist users with arthritic hands.
Week 4: The "Don't Click That!" Class
Info: This session is an empowering, practical guide to digital safety. Students learn how to spot spam texts, phishing links, and phone scams.
