Day two of the Triple Header, and we're back at Caesar Creek.Small Business Saturday, so here's the ask: after the ride, go spend some money at your local bike shop. The shops around here keep this community running. They sponsor rides, they fix your bike when you've clearly been ignoring a noise for six weeks, and they hire people who actually want to talk to you about tire pressure. Buy your chain lube there instead of online.
The ride itself is the usual. Casual group and intermediate group, regrouping at intersections and at the top of climbs. Caesar Creek in late November is stripped down and fast, with lake views you can't see in the summer once the leaves are gone.
Rode Hueston Woods on Friday? Your legs will tell you about it. That's fine. Ride the casual group.
Dress warm. Bring an extra layer for standing around in the lot afterward, because we will stand around in the lot afterward around a hot grill.
