A complimentary, hands-on experience for leaders.
About this Event
What happens when leaders stop reacting and start responding?
In busy workplaces, leaders juggle competing demands, expectations and constant pressure. But what changes when we deliberately create space to pause?
Join leadership speaker, author and Restorative Leadership Architect Tosan Jemide for Slow Down to Rise: a professional, hands-on showcase exploring pressure, presence and leadership.
Rather than simply hearing about slowing down, you’ll experience the difference. Through Tosan’s signature Pause & Pipe activity, guests decorate cupcakes in two contrasting rounds, then reflect on how the experience connects to everyday leadership.
What you’ll take away:
• A practical introduction to the Purple Pause — Pause, Breathe, Notice, Choose.
• Fresh insight into how pressure can shape decisions, communication and team culture.
• An introduction to REWIRE, Tosan’s wider restorative leadership approach.
• Connections with professionals interested in healthier, more effective workplaces.
Who it’s for:
HR, People & Culture and Learning & Development professionals, business leaders, team leaders and decision-makers responsible for leadership development and workplace culture.
About Tosan:
Tosan Jemide is a leadership speaker, author of Your Team Kneads You (with a foreword by Buddy Valastro), former MasterChef Nigeria judge and creator of the REWIRE framework. His 25-year baking career included leading a commercial operation with more than 200 staff. His work draws on that leadership experience and his own experience of burnout.
