As part of Australia's celebration of Slim Dusty's 100th birthday, his family is reuniting for a very special show at the historic Tamworth Town Hall during the 2027 Tamworth Country Music Festival.Featuring Slim's daughter and son, Anne Kirkpatrick and David Kirkpatrick, the show will also include Slim's Travelling Country Band alongside the next generation of the family in Small Town Romance (Slim's grandson James Arneman and his wife, Flora Smith). David Kirkpatrick's band, Two Tone Pony, will also make a special appearance.
Performing songs and hits from the vast catalogue of Slim Dusty and his wife, Joy McKean, the show will feature never-before-seen archival footage as Anne and David share the stories and adventures of a shy country boy from a dairy farm in the Nulla Valley, just outside Kempsey, NSW, who rose to unparalleled success across a remarkable seven-decade career.
Come and join the 100th birthday celebrations!
