7:30 pm: Film Screening
9:00 pm: Q & A with the Director Tom Seawell
Presentation Details:
Fifteen years in the making, the film tells the story of a humble American legend. Tom Frost was a visionary engineer who designed gear that revolutionized the climbing industry, an iconic photographer who documented Yosemite’s most notable first ascents, and a fierce conservationist who personally helped save historic Camp 4.
Join us to celebrate the people and culture of climbing, and be inspired by Tom’s incredible life story. We will also have film merchandise available and a dedicated table to learn more about the Lake Tahoe Climbing Coalition (LTCC).
Admission & Giving:
Free online reservation via Eventbrite (RSVP required to ensure a seat). Suggested Contribution at the Door: $20 in-kind donation per person. This covers festival submission fees, licensing, and tour costs for Frost: The Story of a Lifetime. In addition, a portion of the funds directly supports the Lake Tahoe Climbing Coalition for maintenance, anchor replacement, and crag access.
No one will be turned away for lack of funds. Give what you can to support the film and local climbing.
