About this Event
Sketty is a vibrant community, but getting around the area is becoming increasingly difficult.
Congestion during the school run, parking pressures, public transport, traffic around the university and hospital, and the challenges faced by pedestrians and cyclists all affect residents, families, businesses and visitors.
Over recent weeks, residents across Sketty have been sharing their experiences through our community transport survey. We have now established a valuable picture of the issues people experience every day.
Now we want to bring the conversation into the community.
What will happen at the meeting?
This will be an opportunity to:
• Hear what residents have told us through the transport survey
• Share your own experiences of getting around Sketty
• Discuss the biggest challenges facing different parts of the community
• Explore practical ideas and possible solutions
• Identify the issues residents believe should be prioritised
• Agree what we can do next as a community
This isn't about simply complaining about traffic. It is about listening, understanding the evidence and finding practical ways to make Sketty easier, safer and better to get around.
