Celebrating the release of her third picture book about accessibilty and inclusivity, "Skating Day" takes readers along with Kayla and Piper as they take a field trip to their local skating rink.
This event will feature a book reading with and ASL interpreter, a kid-friendly craft, and a demonstration of how para sled ice skating works.
Light refreshments will be available, and books can be purchased at the event through Once Upon a Bookstore. Karen will also be signing books after the festivities.
All ages are welcome to attend.
