About this Event
You Are Cordially Invited to a Commemorative Dinner & Community Gathering
Join us as we celebrate the 29th Anniversary of the Million Woman March and honor the legacy of the historic 1951 petition, “We Charge Genocide: The Crime of Government Against the Negro People.”
This powerful document courageously exposed the injustices, violence, and systemic inequalities faced by Black Americans and called the world to recognize the human rights violations occurring in the United States.
Together, we will reflect on the issues raised in the 1951 petition and examine how those struggles connect to the realities of today. Through meaningful conversation, reflection, and fellowship, we will honor the voices of those who came before us, acknowledge the challenges that remain, and renew our commitment to justice, equality, and the empowerment of our communities.
🎒 Special Community Giveaway: Backpacks!
As part of our gathering, we will also give away backpacks to support our children and families, investing in the next generation and reminding them that they are seen, valued, and supported.
Come break bread with us as we remember our history, speak truth to the present, and inspire hope for the future.
