The Power of ChantingBack by popular demand our upcoming October Sistar Circle will be ‘The Power of Chanting’.
The purpose of chanting is to find a greater connection to the spiritual world. Chanting goddess chants connects practitioners to divine feminine energy, fostering deep emotional healing, inner strength, and self-awareness.
Chanting may be more significant than you might expect so we will further explore the benefits to our bodies, especially for our womb, that chanting, humming and toning offers as a healing practice. Chanting triggers measurable physiological and neurological shifts in the human body by activating the parasympathetic nervous system and regulating respiration.
Please Note. . . . Many of you have shared how your children are interested in the chants that you return home with, so this event will be open for children below the age of 12 years to come and attend with their mothers.
So let us know that you will be joining us on the 28th of October.
Red Tent Otepoti Dunedin is a Moon Lodge for Women who have or have had a Womb. Our ‘Sistar Circle’ is intended to create a sacred space where you can be you, in a relaxing, comforting environment, uninterrupted by the demands of the outside world. Girls who have reached menarche are welcome, as are women of maturity.
Red Tent Otepoti Dunedin Sistar Circle is a multi-generational woman-only space where women honour the cycles of life. A space for women to connect in community, to explore our inner power, and to learn the wisdom of our body in a safe, nourishing and welcoming space.
Red Tent Otepoti Dunedin is organised voluntarily and we aim to be as accessible as possible, as such we ask for the small fee of $10, or a koha, which helps to cover the cost of resources. Thank you.
We gather at 7pm at Ayu Community Space, 7 Crawford Street, Dunedin and your expression of attendance is required for our October Sistar Circle, so please register your intent to attend with us on facebook or email [email protected] to confirm a place.
