‘Sound Bath Immersion’ on November 25, is our final Sistar Circle for 2026This is a chance to gather in a small, supportive circle to pause, connect and honour ourselves. To bathe in gentle sounds, to luxuriate in waves of love frequency soothing the body while we take respite from the craziness of this time of year.
A sound bath is a deeply immersive, meditative experience where you are "bathed" in sound waves. The "bath" describes the way the sound surrounds you. Instead of hearing it from one direction, you are gently immersed in it, and you can sometimes feel the vibrations moving through your body.
There is nothing you need to do and nothing to get right. No special breathing, no chanting, no effort. Just lie back, get comfortable and simply 'be'.
This sound bath is a journey of resonant tones and overtones that builds and softens, from Crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, chimes and other soothing instruments. The sound bath will be led by our guest, certified Sound Bath facilitator Melissa from Inner Resonance, Dunedin.
This is a chance to slow down, rest and reconnect with the peace within and heal while you relax through this transformative experience. So, let us know that you will be joining us on the 25th of November by registering your intent to attend on facebook or email [email protected] to confirm a place.
Red Tent Otepoti Dunedin is a Moon Lodge for Women who have or have had a Womb. Our ‘Sistar Circle’ is intended to create a sacred space where you can be you, in a relaxing, comforting environment, uninterrupted by the demands of the outside world. Girls who have reached menarche are welcome, as are women of maturity.
Red Tent Otepoti Dunedin Sistar Circle is a multi-generational woman-only space where women honour the cycles of life. A space for women to connect in community, to explore our inner power, and to learn the wisdom of our body in a safe, nourishing and welcoming space.
Red Tent Otepoti Dunedin is organised voluntarily and we aim to be as accessible as possible, as such we ask for the small fee of $10, or a koha, which helps to cover the cost of resources.
Thank you.
