About this Event
We are delighted to announce this benefit performance for a truly special evening of music.
World-renowned pianist and conductor, Sir András Schiff, is performing a benefit concert for The Wiener Holocaust Library on Thursday 5th March 2026 at The Liberal Jewish Synagogue in St John’s Wood.Sir András is performing at two other concerts at the Wigmore Hall that same week which are already completely sold out, making this event especially sought after.
We are incredibly fortunate that Sir András is generously donating his time, and that The Liberal Jewish Synagogue are providing the venue. This means that all the funds raised from the concert will directly support the Library’s core work; making accurate and reliable sources of information about the Holocaust freely accessible to the public through archives, and in-person and online exhibitions and events.
The Wiener Holocaust Library is one of the world’s leading and most extensive archives on the Holocaust, the Nazi era and related themes. The Library’s unique collection of over one million items includes published and unpublished works, press cuttings, photographs and eyewitness testimony.
