About this Event
This year, ArtSpark had tremendous growth and joy. We hosted artists at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston on MLK Day and Juneteenth, brought the house down with our signature The Global Majority event at The Foundry in Cambridge, livened up Northeastern University’s NU Crossing, and we had the incredible honor of hosting Clejan at Arts at the Armory.
In difficult times, creative communities use their craft to reflect what matters most: community, justice, and freedom. We’re forever grateful to the many people who helped shape ArtSpark into a valuable resource and hub for BIPOC/Global Majority artists in Greater Boston and we’d love to celebrate with you.
Please join us on Saturday October 3rd for a special thank you event for our donors, supporters, and friends of ArtSpark! We will have small bites and an arts activity led by Alana Womack. Our work would not be able to exist without the dedicated support of all those who uplifted the work of our artists and our organizers behind the scenes.
Your donation will help:
💥 Raise valuable funds to continue paying our artists equitable, competitive wages
✌🏾 Build up a salary for our first paid employee to continue running ArtSpark efficiently and with care
✨ Add to our Artist Emergency Fund which will help cover costs that often prevent artists from pursuing opportunities (travel, program fees, equipment, etc).
