Join Cultural Threads for Sip & Sew - a relaxed evening bringing women together for embroidery, curated shopping and good food!
Hosted at Chaaye Khana, South London, this is your invitation to slow down, get creative and enjoy a warm, relaxed evening away from the everyday. Whether you’re coming with friends or arriving solo, expect a welcoming atmosphere, a little creativity and connection!

THE EVENING
5:30pm–6:00pm | Arrive & explore
Get comfortable, browse our stalls and enjoy the warm atmosphere of Chaaye Khana.
6:00pm-6:30pm | Ice breaker
The evening kicks off with an interactive quiz, with one lucky winner taking home our new Threaded Beyond Borders bundle!
From 6:30pm | Sip & Sew
Take your seat for our guided embroidery activity and create a personalised canvas pouch to take home. The rest of the evening is yours to enjoy at your own pace - order food, browse our stalls, or head over to our social media corner to capture some pics. Stitch, snack, shop and socialise throughout the evening!
WHAT TO EXPECT
* Sip & Sew workshop: Create your own embroidered canvas accessory pouch, with an embroidery kit provided.
* A little friendly competition: Join our evening quiz for the chance to win our new Threaded Beyond Borders bundle!
* Curated stalls: Discover beautiful finds from independent businesses, including henna designs, handmade skincare, permanent jewellery and tooth gems.
* Food, drinks & good company: Enjoy the cafe atmosphere, connect with other women and take time to explore the stalls throughout the evening. Plus 10% off the entire menu!
* A little something to take home: Every guest receives a goody bag, including a Cultural Threads tote bag.
No previous embroidery experience is needed - just bring yourself and a willingness to get creative!
A few things to know
* Tickets cost £25 per person.
* A minimum food spend of £10 applies per guest and is separate from the ticket price.
* Your ticket includes one complimentary drink.
* All embroidery materials and your canvas pouch will be provided.
* Please arrive from 5:30pm so you have time to explore the stalls before the workshop begins!
