About this Event
Come enjoy a glass of wine while learning about your pelvic floor!
We will break down what the pelvic floor actually does, how it connects to your hips, core, glutes, diaphragm and why taking care of these muscles is necessary for your next outdoors adventure. We will discuss when it is beneficial to train these muscles, stretch them, relax them, and when to seek further assistance from a pelvic floor physical therapist.
You will learn practical tips you can take with you on your next climb, hike, or bouldering session. Learn some exercises that can make you feel stronger and more in tune with your body.
Be ready to learn, ask questions, and go through some very simple movements and stretches with fellow queers! No exercise experience required. Every single gender is invited because literally everyone has a pelvic floor!
Street parking is available.
