About this Event
Step into Ottawa’s mid-century modern art scene — and meet new people while you’re at it! This special edition of Singles Mingle is for singles ages 25–45. We’re taking over Wall Space Gallery after hours for an intimate, private guided tour of Ottawa’s Blue Barn Group: Mid-Century Modern Art, plus relaxed, organic mingling woven throughout the evening.
Skip the swiping and explore real connections in a beautiful, cultural setting. This special edition of Singles Mingle (@singlesmingle.events) offers a quieter, curated experience: a smaller group (65 singles), a private tour led by an art expert, and light social prompts to help you meet people naturally
This edition offers a gentler pace and more intimate atmosphere than our usual events.
Here's what the evening looks like:
6:00–6:15 PM — Arrival / Check‑In / Settling In: Pick up your name tag. Light optional prompts will be available to help you ease in and meet a few people before the tour begins.
6:15–7:30 PM — Private Guided Tour: Enjoy an engaging walkthrough of the Blue Barn Group exhibition — featuring Gerald Trottier, James Boyd, Victor Tolgesy, George de Niverville, and Duncan de Kergommeaux — with interactive moments to spark conversation.
7:30–8:00 PM — Open Mingling (Lightly Facilitated): Wander, chat, and connect with the people you met during the tour. A few optional conversation prompts and gentle facilitation will be available for anyone who wants help getting conversations started.(There are plenty of great bars and restaurants nearby if you’d like to continue the evening afterward.)
