Wasila Events welcomes single Muslims aged 37–50 who are sincerely seeking marriage.
Whether you have never previously married or are divorced, you are welcome to attend.
Join us for a professional, structured and respectful marriage event in the relaxed setting of Balkh Restaurant, while maintaining an Islamic ethos in accordance with the Qur'an and Sunnah.
This is a marriage introduction event — not a dating event.
🍽️ An Afghan Mix Grill Platter is included with each participating attendee ticket.
💬 HOW IT WORKS
Brothers and sisters will participate in structured 1-to-1 introductions, giving each person a short initial conversation with potential marriage candidates.
Each introduction will last approximately 5 minutes and is designed to help establish whether there may be sufficient initial compatibility to consider taking the conversation further.
After the introductions:

A match is not guaranteed. Wasila Events facilitates introductions; attendees and their families remain responsible for their own enquiries and due diligence.
🎙️ GUEST SPEAKER – ISLAMIC MARRIAGE GUIDANCE
A guest Islamic speaker will join us on the day to provide beneficial guidance and practical advice surrounding marriage from an Islamic perspective.
The session will explore important considerations when seeking a spouse and approaching marriage with the correct intentions, expectations and Islamic principles.

👥 WHO CAN ATTEND?
This event is for Muslims who:
✓ Are aged 37–50 on the event date
✓ Are single and genuinely seeking marriage
✓ Have never previously married or are divorced
✓ Are British citizens
✓ Agree to respect the Islamic ethos and event rules
✓ For men: are seeking a first/current sole wife only
Divorcees are warmly welcomed.
🚫 This event is not intended for casual dating, socialising or networking, nor for men seeking a second wife/co-wife.
🧕 SISTERS – MAHRAM / CHAPERONE
Sisters must attend with either:
✓ A Mahram (male relative); or
✓ A suitable chaperone, such as an elderly female relative/friend.
Sisters arriving without the required Mahram or suitable chaperone will not be permitted to participate.
🪪 PHOTO ID REQUIRED
All participating attendees must bring an original, valid government-issued photo ID, such as a passport or UK photocard driving licence.
Your ID will be checked against your booking and may be used to confirm your identity, age and eligibility.
No valid ID = No admission.
🕌 ISLAMIC ETHOS
The event will operate according to an Islamic ethos based upon the Qur'an and authentic Sunnah.
Attendees are expected to:

An Afghan Mix Grill Platter is included with each ticket including the Mahram/chaperone ticket.

✓ Sisters must attend with a Mahram/suitable chaperone
✓ Men must be seeking a first/current sole wife only
✓ Registration form must be completed accurately
✓ Event and Islamic conduct rules must be followed
🎟️ Tickets are non-refundable except where required by law and cannot be transferred without prior approval.
Please arrive promptly. The event begins at 12:30 PM sharp.
Late arrivals may miss introductions or may be refused entry where their late arrival would disrupt the structured programme.
Failure to meet the advertised age, eligibility, ID or chaperone requirements may result in refused entry and does not create an entitlement to a refund except where required by law.
🤝 AFTER THE EVENT
Following the introductions, attendees will privately indicate anyone they would be interested in speaking to further.
Where both individuals express mutual interest, Wasila Events may facilitate an appropriate next step.
Wasila Events cannot guarantee a match, subsequent communication, compatibility, engagement or marriage.
Attendees and their families remain responsible for conducting their own enquiries and due diligence before progressing towards marriage.

Where required, sisters must attend with a Mahram or suitable chaperone. Failure to do so may result in refused entry.
🕌 CONDUCT
Attendees must respect the Islamic ethos, venue and other guests. Inappropriate, abusive or disruptive behaviour may result in removal.
💍 MARRIAGE INTENTIONS
Attendees must be genuinely seeking marriage. Where specified, men must be seeking a first wife only.
Wasila Events facilitates introductions but does not guarantee a match, compatibility, engagement or marriage.
🔒 PRIVACY
Respect the privacy of all attendees. Do not photograph, film, record or share another attendee's personal information without permission.
📸 PHOTOGRAPHY & VIDEO
Official photography and filming may take place for Wasila Events' marketing and social media.
If you do not wish to appear, please tell our team at check-in on the day. We will take reasonable steps to avoid intentionally photographing or filming you.
🎟️ TICKETS & REFUNDS
Tickets are non-refundable, except where required by law, and cannot be transferred without prior approval.
Failure to meet eligibility, ID or entry requirements may result in refused entry without a refund.
⏰ ARRIVAL
Please arrive on time. Late arrivals may be refused entry or miss introductions without entitlement to a refund.
