***
--------
"Av men inte med Ulf Svedlund" is a title to be taken literally. The music was written by Svedlund but arranged and produced by Anton Toorell and Alex Zethson. The songs were composed over a period of nearly 30 years, and a certain musical eclecticism is evident. Some tracks evoke melodic 1960s jazz, while others are more more minimal and repetitive in their expression.
On the album, and at the release concert, Toorell and Zethson perform the music alongside Dennis Egberth, Viktor Skokic and Pelle Westlin. Svedlund doesn’t play a single note.
Join us for the album release party and concert at Volta on December 2. The album will be released on 180g vinyl, available at a special price during the evening.
