Thanks to the generosity of the wonderful people at Leids Steunloket Migranten, we've been invited to gather after their twice-monthly community building dinners. Where: Speeltuin Westkwartier, Leiden
When: Every 2nd and 4th Monday of the month at 18:30
The international dinner begins at 18:00, and we're kindly invited to join that too! Dinner is free but you can make a donation to support the work of LSM. Just let the organizers know beforehand if you'd like to come for dinner.
Everyone is welcome! You don't have to be a good singer, know the words, or have any musical experience. We're not trying to create a perfect ensemble. We just want to enjoy being together, singing familiar songs, learning new ones, and sharing a little laughter along the way.
We'll start with some classic folk and rock favorites from the '60s and '70s, and we'd love to add songs from other countries and cultures as well. What a lovely way to get to know one another!
So come sing, hum, listen, or just enjoy the company. Bring a song from your part of the world if you like.
The more voices, the merrier! 🎵
If you’ve got a guitar and want to help lead some songs also welcome.
