Step out on a limb and invest in your scene partner and relationships without the pressure to be wacky or zany in the moment. Focus on making comedy the consequence of a scene instead of your singular focus. Completion of Improv 201 at Coalition (or equivalent at a comparable theater) is required.
Dates: The class runs Tuesdays, starting 10/27/2026 and running for 4 weeks.
Instructor: Anthony Brazeau
Anthony Brazeau has been performing improv at the Coalition Theater for the past 8 years and has been teaching their 201 course (characters and relationships) for the past 5 years. He currently performs at the Coalition on the house team, The Movies; along with coaching the house team Street Jelly. His two-person improv team BABE has traveled up and down the east coast performing in as many different improv festivals as will let them in…so far that’s 10. Anthony also has that gene that makes cilantro tastes like soap.
Prerequisites: Improv 101 and 201, or equivalent classes at a comparable institution. Email [email protected] with questions.
Cost: $135 (Early Bird: $115)
The Coalition Theater is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Once classes begin, all sales are final. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise that prevent you from attending or completing your registered class. While we do our best to accommodate such situations, refunds are awarded only as credit for a future class or shows and are subject to the discretion of The Coalition Theater management. Requests for refunds will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and any decisions regarding refunds will be made at the discretion of the theater.
