Cello, bass and violin unleashedSimply Three: UNCLASSICAL is the rock concert you never saw coming, performed entirely on violin, cello, and bass. Classically trained and conservatory-honed, this virtuosic trio shatters expectations by turning strings into a percussive, high-voltage rock experience. From explosive anthems to soaring cinematic ballads, they deliver the adrenaline of a modern rock show with the beauty and intimacy of chamber music.
Simply Three is a dynamic instrumental trio from Phoenix, Arizona, celebrated for their genre-defying fusion of classical, rock, and pop music. The group features Nick Villalobos on bass, Zack Clark on cello, and Julian “Julz” Nguyen on violin. Together, they have built an international following through their distinctive sound and high-energy performances that blur the line between concert hall precision and arena-level excitement.
Renowned for blending refined musicianship with raw performance energy, Simply Three captivates audiences worldwide with inventive takes on contemporary hits and original compositions. Their repertoire spans artists such as Avicii and OneRepublic alongside cinematic works like their original piece “Rain,” creating a performance that feels both familiar and new.
Family-friendly, bold, and hi-energy, this is what happens when classical training meets unclassical imagination.
