Join us at The Monastery for a unique, hands on jewelry making experience with Oregon artist, silversmith, and jewelry designer .
With 20 years of experience in silversmithing, Jayne will guide you through the process of creating your very own sterling silver ring featuring a beautiful Kingman turquoise stone.
You'll learn the fundamentals of silversmithing as you size your ring, form a bezel, solder your pieces, and polish your finished creation. No experience necessary! Just bring your creativity and a willingness to try something new.
Whether you're planning a memorable date night, looking for a creative experience with your BFF, or simply want to learn a new skill, this intimate workshop offers the chance to make something truly one of a kind.
What to Expect:
- A three hour guided silversmithing experience
- Create your own sterling silver ring with Kingman turquoise
- Learn ring sizing, bezel forming, soldering, and polishing
- All tools and materials included
- Light snacks and drinks provided
- A small, intimate class limited to just 8 participants
What to Wear: This is a working silversmithing studio experience, so dress accordingly! Aprons will be provided, but soldering involves heat and sparks that can damage clothing. Leave your favorite outfit at home and wear something you don't mind getting a little messy.
