This month's silver adventure: Plein Air — Art in the OutdoorsJoin Outdoor Chattanooga’s Adventure Staff Artists for a fun and creative Silver Adventures experience at Coolidge Park! Take inspiration from the beautiful Tennessee River and iconic Walnut Street Bridge as we explore the art of plein air—or open-air—painting.
Participants will learn basic watercolor and plein air techniques before creating their own painting inspired by the outdoors. No previous painting experience is needed—just come ready to learn, create, and enjoy the scenery! All materials are supplied.
The program will meet at the Outdoor Chattanooga building for check-in before heading into the park to paint.
Free to attend! Registration is encouraged so we can provide event updates and communication, but walk-ups are welcome. Bring your own watercolor supplies if you have them (otherwise we will supply!!), and come ready to paint, explore, and enjoy the outdoors.
