Silo Concerts presents This Thing Called Swing at the Silo District, V&A Waterfront.If you love Jazz or love to Jump, Jive, Jitterbug, Swing or Hop, then this is your time. The Silo District Concerts presents a night dedicated to Swing dancing and Big Band Music. We have Swing DJ’s, and the 20 piece The Swing Jazz All Stars "Big Band", under the direction of Maestro Mike Campbell, who will swing you through the thirties and forties.
Come to listen to the jazz, or if you come to dance, a dedicated dance floor will be waiting for you.
So ....... Polish your brogues, tighten you braces, ladder your fishnets, and shine your pearls ............
6pm - Swing DJ and social dancing
6:30pm - Swing Class with Cape Town Swing
7pm - Swing Jazz All Stars [20 Piece Big Band]
Silo P2 parking is closest. You can bring picnic baskets or you can order from the incredible restaurants surrounding the Piazza.
