Who is your tutor: Helen Mortimer is an artist specialising in paintings on silk, inspired by her travels abroad. She exhibits annually at Open Studios in both West Berkshire and Hampshire. She also creates silk scarves, using Shibori designs, shown at craft fairs & exhibitions with Made in the Hood - a local craft group. She teaches art and craft to various groups in the community: at The Base, the Corn Exchange and Day Centres.
