🎶 SILENT TEARS: THE LAST YIDDISH TANGOWhere memory, poetry, and music become testimony.
The Art of Humanity invites you to experience Silent Tears: The Last Yiddish Tango — a moving musical journey that gives voice to Holocaust memory through poetry set to the haunting sounds of 1930s Polish tango music.
Performed by the acclaimed Payadora Ensemble, Silent Tears transforms words of remembrance into music—honoring lives, preserving stories, and ensuring that the voices of the past continue to be heard by future generations.
Following the performance, Dr. Robert Watson will lead a special discussion exploring the significance of music and poetry during the Holocaust and the extraordinary role the arts play in preserving memory.
