This retreat is designed for dancers and movers with experience in Contact Improvisation who:
✔ are comfortable self-directing their own practice
✔ are committed to exploring silence as a field of attention
✔ value presence over performance
✔ appreciate shared responsibility and care
It is not suitable for complete beginners in Contact Improvisation.

Nordmarkskapellet — a forest chapel built in 1933 with a wooden floor and open light. Surrounded by silent forest paths and Blankvann lake, the environment becomes part of the practice itself.

• 3 vegetarian meals daily

• The retreat unfolds through collective rhythm and shared attention.
• Silence is held as a group agreement to deepen presence.
Guidelines and responsibilities for safety will be shared at the beginning of the retreat.

• Dietary needs collected on registration.
• Phones and devices are not used during retreat to support the contemplative field.

It’s possible to remain at the venue until the afternoon of 23 August, with food provided and cooking organized collectively. Please communicate and pay for this option in advance.
