Join us at the Blue Mouse for a night of silent cinema with historian Michael Sullivan, as part of
our 2026 film series, “Community Movie Theaters.”
Michael Sean Sullivan is a public historian, writer and historic preservationist. He has taught Pacific Northwest history at the University of Washington Tacoma for more than 20 years.
Michael created and contributes to the website TacomaHistory.live and co-produces the short
form documentary series Tacoma Home Movies. Michael co-founded Artifacts Consulting, an historic preservation firm, is an Advisor to the National Trust for Historic Preservation, is Board
Chairman for History Link, an online Encyclopedia of Washington State History and serves onthe Governor’s Advisory Council on Historic Preservation.
