Welcome to the Silent Book Club happening at Spirit Well Sensory Lounge every 4th Tuesday monthly. Grab your favorite book and join us for a cozy reading session. No need to worry about discussing the book afterwards - just enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and immerse yourself in the world of your book. Whether you're a bookworm or just looking for a relaxing morning, this event is perfect for you. See you there!
- Bring your own book
Read whatever you’d like—fiction, nonfiction, audiobook with headphones, Kindle, or physical book. No assigned reading. - Silent reading = mindful time
The first hour is spent reading quietly together. This is intentional unplugged time, so we encourage silencing phones and minimizing distractions. - No pressure, no homework
There’s no required discussion. After reading, you’re welcome to stay and chat, share what you’re reading, or simply head out. - Support our host venue
Please plan to purchase food, drinks, or refreshments from the venue during the event. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy and learn about all they offer. - Come as you are

Welcome and Optional Meet & Greet
Info: We’ll begin with a relaxed, optional meet-and-greet to help everyone settle in. You’re welcome to briefly introduce yourself and share what you’re reading, or simply listen and enjoy the space. Socializing is always optional—this is a low-pressure, judgment-free environment, and you’re free to participate in whatever way feels comfortable for you.

1 Hour of Silent Reading
Info: This is the heart of Silent Book Club. We’ll spend one full hour reading quietly together in a shared space. This time is intentionally phone-free and distraction-free, allowing reading to become a mindful, restorative experience and part of a regular self-care routine. Bring any book you’re currently enjoying and read at your own pace—no assignments, no interruptions, just peaceful, uninterrupted reading.

Reader Reflections & Connections
Info: After our silent reading hour, attendees are invited to reflect and share their experience. You’re welcome to talk about the book you’re reading, any challenges with focus, or what you enjoyed about the quiet, mindful reading time. Listening is just as welcome as speaking, and sharing is always optional. We’ll also offer an optional group photo for anyone who’d like to be included.
