Sierra Medical Center welcomes expecting families to our prenatal education classes, hosted by experienced local nurses. All classes are free to attend.

Postpartum Expectations & Planning: Having a new baby is an amazing experience but it can be challenging. In this class, you will learn of the many challenges and changes that can happen when a new baby arrives. Have a real-world conversation about the physical, mental and emotional aspects of going home with a baby.

Class sizes vary by topic to ensure adequate time for questions and learning. Only one ticket is needed for both the expecting mom and one accompanying support person.

Pre-natal classes and support groups hosted by Northern Nevada Health System are for educational purposes only. Any questions specific to a patient’s medical condition should be addressed by their provider.
