Sierra Medical Center welcomes expecting families to our prenatal education classes, hosted by experienced local nurses. All classes are free to attend.

Newborn Care: It might be overwhelming as a first-time parent to grasp the various considerations that come with caring for a newborn. In this class, you will learn newborn care and learn a few tips and tricks to keep in mind when bringing your little one home. The class will include time for questions to ensure you are able to address any concerns you have.

Class sizes vary by topic to ensure adequate time for questions and learning. Only one ticket is needed for both the expecting mom and one accompanying support person.

Pre-natal classes and support groups hosted by Northern Nevada Health System are for educational purposes only. Any questions specific to a patient’s medical condition should be addressed by their provider.
