Café Negril is THRILLED to have back the award winning artists, Sierra and The Green Notes.
Powered by Green’s passionate, gravely voice, reminiscent of classic soul vocalists like Aretha Franklin and Irma Thomas, and topped off with the timeless tinge of contemporary soul revival acts like Leon Bridges and Sharon Jones and Dap-Kings, the band performs up to seven nights a week, packing hometown venues with international crowds.
Sierra leads two dynamic projects:
- Sierra & The Green Notes — a jazz ensemble performing timeless classics from Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra and more, perfect for intimate, listening-room settings.
- Sierra Green & The Giants — a high-energy band delivering soul, funk, and crowd-driven performances that keep audiences dancing and engaged all night.
Born and raised in New Orleans, Green’s charisma, infectious on-stage presence, and tireless work ethic put her in a category of her own.
