About this Event
SHTEM – Exploring the Science Behind the Past
A new hands-on workshop series for home-educated children aged 8–15
What can museum objects teach us about science?
Across our first three sessions, we'll be exploring Newton's Laws of Force, Mass and Motion through the lens of history using fun experiments, practical activities and objects from the museum's collections.
Forget sitting quietly and taking notes – these sessions are all about getting involved, asking questions, experimenting and discovering how science has shaped the world around us.
