Experience a brand-new play for Shrewsbury, River Stories: All aboard for a journey through time. Developed from creative workshops with local children and elders as well as conversations with local river professionals, it will take you on an exciting journey through your hometown – past, present and future.
You are invited to enjoy a range of activities available before the show, including the chance to contribute ideas and share creative responses. Shrewsbury FuturesLab is an opportunity for everyone to be part of the action, make new connections and help shape the place you live, for generations to come.
Created by the Shrewsbury community, written with acta Community Theatre, and performed by Drama students from UWE Bristol, this is an exciting new way to locally envision collective futures.
The performance starts at 6pm but there will be a range of pre-event activities happening in the theatre from 4:30pm where you can find out more about the project, contribute ideas and connect with your community.
