Shop Small Saturday on the Historic Independence Square
Shop Local. Find Something Special. Make a Difference.
Kick off your holiday shopping with a delicious Saturday brunch and a day filled with festive fun on the historic Independence Square! From unique gifts and local vendors to holiday cheer and charming downtown decorations, Shop Small Saturday is the perfect opportunity to find something special while supporting the locally owned businesses that make our community shine.
Start your day with a $15 Saturday brunch at Ophelia’s Restaurant & Inn, prepared by their talented staff. And since it’s brunch, why not treat yourself to a mimosa?
Then, head to the Uptown Holiday Market at The Exchange Event Space to shop local vendors, visit with Santa from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., and join the fun with Spin and Win Square Gift Certificates at 11 a.m.! You can also participate in a ticketed Sip & Paint event benefiting Habitat for Humanity.
As you stroll the Square, discover one-of-a-kind treasures, thoughtful gifts, and unique finds in our locally owned shops and boutiques. Enjoy the holiday decorations, soak up the atmosphere of a charming historic downtown, and check a few more names off your holiday gift list (with a little something for yourself, too!).
When you shop small, your gifts mean more. You’re giving something truly special while supporting local business owners, strengthening our community, and helping preserve the historic Independence Square for generations to come.
Bring your shopping shoes, gather your friends and family, and make Shop Small Saturday a holiday tradition on the Square!
