About this Event
Shoot Your Shot is a relaxed, social photo walk from Bella Grace Designs designed to get you looking a little closer at the places around you. Our theme for this photo walk is built around one creative challenge: See fall differently and find fall color hidden where you least expect it. This is not a photography class, and no experience or special equipment is required.
At the start of the walk, guests will receive an inspirational Bingo card with broad visual prompts to help get the creativity moving. We’ll then head out for a short photo walk through Downtown Cary. Near the end, you’ll choose one image as your shot, spend a few minutes reflecting on what caught your eye, and regroup for an informal sharing circle. Guests will also have the option to submit one photograph to the Shoot Your Shot Collective, our post-walk community gallery. Participants will view the collection and vote for the photograph that made them see the fall differently. One image will be named the Shot of the Walk and receive a small prize.
WHAT TO BRING
Bring the phone or camera you already use, comfortable walking shoes, and your curiosity.
GOOD TO KNOW
The listed address is the meet-up point, not the full route. The walk is approximately 0.5–0.75 mile along Downtown Cary sidewalks and includes street crossings and periods of standing. After the walk, guests are invited to keep the conversation going at a nearby Downtown Cary coffee or gathering spot. Food and beverages are purchased individually.
Rain plan: If weather makes the walk unsafe or impractical, registered guests will be offered a rescheduled date.
