Come celebrate an hour and twenty minute feature, jam packed with the explosive, wild, surreal and hilarious short films of Chris Carlone dating back to 1990! Spanning many moving picture platforms ranging from VHS to Pixelvision to Digital Video to super 8 mm film, this program of Chris's work will astound you and inspire you!
The name "Shit's Fucked" comes from an extremely fruitful creative period during the dark and isolated time of the covid lockdowns in NYC in 2020. During that time period, Chris created an improvisational album / video companion recorded and filmed on the empty streets of NYC.
The program you will see on the 25th will begin with a collection of Chris's short films spanning 30 years culminating into the musical video experience that is SHIT'S FUCKED.
ARTIST BIO:
Chris Carlone has been working as a professional photographer, video editor and videographer for almost 20 years in NYC, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Tucson. Chris has produced, shot, edited and directed hundreds of music videos and has made several short films. In 2023 Chris completed his feature documentary about the Tucson underground music scene of the 1980s called, A Tale of Two Houses which appeared in several film festivals across the US. In April of 2026, Chris's second short film - LONELY TROJAN - Too young for the first wave ... too old for the second, premiered at the 34th annual Arizona International Film Fest where his film won an award for Best Music DocumentaryAside from his work as a visual artist, Chris is a veteran musician and performance artist consistently performing on stage for the last 38 years in different capacities such as dance, theatre and every genre of music imaginable. He is the creator of the critically acclaimed performance artist musical persona Borts Minorts.
