🌟SHINE A LIGHT ON RESCUE 2026🌟 A Charity Glow-In-The-Dark Walk for Rescue Dogs 💚
A New Lead on Life – North West Rescue proudly presents our second year of the ‘Shine a Light on Rescue’ event! This is a heart-warming community event designed to celebrate and support the incredible rescue dogs far and wide - from those who are still searching for their forever homes, to those that have found their humans!!
On Wednesday, 28th October, join us for a magical 4.5K glow-in-the-dark charity walk, starting at 6.30pm from the lovely ‘Bispham Station Cafe’ (FY2 9BH). Bring your pups, light up the night, and be part of an unforgettable display of unity, compassion, and wagging tails! 💡
Entry is just a donation on the night, with EVERY penny raised going directly toward food, vet bills, and essential care for the amazing dogs in our rescue.
The walk will finish in spectacular style at the ‘Ma Kellys On The Prom’ (FY1 5DL), where all our participating dogs will come together for a giant group sit, and we are hoping for a stunning commemorative shot.
Even if you’re unable to join the walk itself, you’re warmly invited to meet us at Ma Kellys for the grand finale or even just some doggy appreciation! 💚
By joining us, you’re helping shine a light on dogs who need it the most!
Let’s light up the promenade together - for hope, for second chances, and for rescue dogs everywhere 💚🐾
*Glow sticks will be available to purchase at the start point - but you’re equally invited to bring your own, please make yourselves as bright and vibrant as possible!*
