About this Event
Join us for an evening of drinks and hands-on candle making at Pearlescent Candle Co. Our workshops offer a unique opportunity to learn the art of candle making from our expert instructors AND sip some amazing downtown beverages while doing so. You'll get to make your own 9oz Heirloom Glass Shimmer Pumpkin Candle! You'll get to pick your tie-dye colors, add shimmer, blend your own fragrance and decorate the outside of your jar!
Spots for this workshop are very limited. Once it is sold out, no additional seats will be sold.
Please Note! This event is at our shop in DOWNTOWN FREDERICKSBURG and drinks are NOT included in the ticket price. This is a FIRST FRIDAY event. Please purchase drinks from any downtown sidewalk vendor and bring them with you to the event. Only drinks purchased from downtown vendors are allowed. Bringing alcohol from home is not allowed. You are welcome to bring snacks.
What's included:
- One 9oz heirloom glass pumpkin jar to create your 100% coconut-soy wax candle in.
- The option to tie-dye your jar to make it even more festive!
- Over 20 fragrance options! Lots of Autumn scent options! You can also blend fragrances together to make your own personal aroma.
- A full array stickers and blank labels to decroate the outside of your jar.
- Twine to tie on the stem of the pumpkin.
- Shimmer sparkles you can add to the core of your wax to make your spider sparkle as it burns.
- Guided instruction
Your candle must set and cure for 30 minutes (because they'll still be liquid). You'll have the option to wait for your candle to set (drink wine, shop, and socialize while you wait) OR to pick up your candle up the next day at our shop in Downtown Fredericksburg.
During the workshop, you'll discover the secrets of creating your own beautiful and fragrant candles. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned candle enthusiast, our workshops are designed to cater to all skill levels.
Important Notes: Due to how late this event goes, it is a 21+ workshop/event. Minors are not allowed. We offer family friendly workshop options everyday at our store in Downtown Fredericksburg. Since we will be handling hot wax, a waiver is required to be signed before you begin your class. Any unsafe or overly drunk behavior will result in being removed from the class.
